I work very hard to find the right home for you. I listen carefully to your needs and then search daily not only using the MLS, but various sources through brokers specializing in different areas. I also find great deals through short sales and foreclosures, and tend to love negotiating those great deals!
When I make suggestions of possible homes to show you, or when you find one on your own and ask me to check it out, I do several things:
- Check for any location problems such as 540 bypass going too close to house, backing to a busy street or some other negative
- Check for crime & sexual predators living nearby
- Check for power lines, extra steep driveways, etc. via the maps available. These unfixable things can be killer on re-sale.
- Check the sales comparables and current competition to make sure the home is priced right
- Make sure the neighborhood is solid and foreclosures (which bring values down are rare)
